Metro Detroit: Livonia’s Black Label Tavern

It’s your favorite Realtor and lover of all foods (well almost all foods) here with this weeks edition of Fun Food Friday. Teresa and I have been wanting to feature this Livonia restaurant for a while and here it finally is. It is a local favorite to many Livonia residents and they have a very diverse menu with something for everyone. Also a great place for a Good Friday Fish n Chips or Shrimp Tacos…Black Label Tavern.

Black Label Tavern is located on Plymouth Rd between Farmington and Stark right next to Zerbos. We have been there a number of times and try and get something different every time we go, but there are still a lot of good looking things we want to try. We went there just recently for lunch and I had the Brewben, which has beer braised corned beef which was fantastic. Teresa had the Traverse City Chicken Wrap which had a balsamic glaze that was the perfect complement to the chicken, dried cherries and walnuts.

There are so many other things I can go on and on about, Gouda mac-n-cheese bites, pizza, awesome drinks, but all I can say is go there and try them for yourself…you won’t be disappointed. They also recently opened a location in Milford in the shopping center in the SE corner of Milford and GM roads.
