Metro Detroit: Livonia’s Zo’s Good Burger

Happy Friday. We are back with this week’s Fun Food Friday adventure which takes us back to another local gas station. This time it’s an Exxon station on the NE corner of 6 Mile and Haggerty, inside is Zo’s Good Burger. We have had a handful of people ask us about Zo's so we had to make sure to get there. Zo’s has been around since 2015ish in their Dearborn location but only opened earlier this year in Livonia so of course we had to add it to our list of Fun Food Friday adventures. There are actually 5 locations now to choose from, Livonia, Garden City, Canton, Dearborn and Detroit.

While Burger is in their name, it is not the only thing they serve. They offer chicken sandwiches, chicken strips and nuggets, wraps including a vegetarian black bean wrap, fries (reg or Cajun) , onion rings, milkshakes and more. They have a “build your own burger’ option as well as house recommended options like the Good Burger, Lebanese Burger or Chipotle Black Bean burger. They also have a “Build a Fries Basket” where you can load your fries up with chicken, bacon, cheese, onions and more…they look like they can get quite sloppy but look so good.

We ordered their Zo’s Good Burger which is topped with cheese sticks, onion rings and Goodburger sauce on a pretzel roll. An order of sliders (3), a grilled chicken sandwich and some regular fries. The Goodburger was a Really Good Burger. I was pleased at the size for the money, a lot of places charge $8 and you get this wimpy burger that looks like it was sat on before put into the bag. Our food was great. The burgers were hot and fresh, the chicken sandwich was juicy and fries stayed crispy during the ride home. We’ll definitely be going back for 2nds or 3rds in the near future.

The Livonia location is open Mon-Sat from 11-9 and closed on Sunday. The hours vary at their other locations so check before you go.

Until next week…Live Life and Eat Well.
